And I’m  re-watching Rachel Maddow’s most recent chat

with Prof. Tim Snyder of Yale— about the possible power 

and significance of local protests in Gainesville, Georgia.

It’s another Take Heart piece, thank all the gods, and not a

moment too soon.  We need every sane and encouraging

report about the State of Our Nation that our news sources 

can gather.  I’m already planning to re-watch it.

These days I focus on all the hope I can find—

like the idea that timely, creative, local responses

to the Trump/Putin Alliance might help us

redirect The Ship of State’s foreign policy.

Starting today early with fingers crossed.
